Dexie came to rescue thanks to a very thoughtful woman. Dexie's owner was very ill and could no longer care for him. The owner's family took Dex to a kennel and the owner's care giver made sure Dex got to rescue. Dexter is a very special boy. He has a huge personality and a heart to match. This big boy won over his foster family immediately. Dex was very confused and anxious for quite a few days, but eventually began to come around. He slept every night in someone's bed and LOVED his walks. Dexie was adopted by a wonderful family in Northern New York. His new mom is a dog trainer and they live on a farm with many wonderful animals. We are so grateful to Dexter's new family. We are always so happy there are families willing to take in the senior dogs.
