Dewie came to us from a shelter in OH. He was set to be euth'd, but a couple shelter workers pulled him so he wouldn't die. They decided to hold on to him until they could find him a home or a rescue. I was contacted by a friend who asked if I could take him and I said yes thinking he looked more Dobe than Rott. Upon arrival it was obvious that Dewie is a Rott'N Dobe. A Rott/Dobe mix. He is certainly a VERY handsome boy. His eyes will mesmerize you! He is stunning to say the least... Dewie is around 2 years old and sweet boy. His previous foster mom had this to say: "Dewie is very sweet, good with other animals (dogs/cats... even rabbits!), is house trained and listens very well. He even does well off leash (although we never recommend trying that right away with any new dog). Dewie is also very obedient and wants to make you happy." And, it was all so very true! This boy is a total gem! And, GORGEOUS! Dewie, now Gunny, was adopted by Bill and Mary in Central PA and they LOVE him! They recently lost their Dober-boy and could not have imagined loving another as much, but Gunny is certainly working his way into their hearts! Bill had this to say: "The Boy is doing GREAT! ... He is my buddy and is head over paws in love with my wife.
