Addie a day or so after being dumped.
Addie only a week later!
|
Addison is such a sweet 5 month old Dober-girl who was tossed from a truck in Confluence, PA. Luckily, she is a very smart girl and quickly found a family who would ensure she made it safely to rescue. They provided care for Addie while searching for a rescue organization to take her in. This is what one of the rescuing families had to say:
Addie was originally dumped off at Kailee and Conner's house and decided to
live with both families. Some nights she slept up there, others at our
house! She also ate at both houses! This photo was taken the day we brought
her to you.
Thanks so much for saving this precious dog!
We miss her!
Kathi
All of the kids (shown above) bonded immediately with Addie and we are sure Addie will never forget their kindness. Addie arrived here in poor condition. She was super thin and did not have much energy. The family that found her could not believe she was a puppy because she was so calm. Well, part of that was Addie's personality, but most of it was because she was physically in poor shape. We immediately took Addie to the vet and then she went into foster care when she put on 7 pounds in one week!!! Amazing what proper care and nutrition will do. =) Addie was adopted by a wonderful man and woman who live in Buffalo, NY. She has a canine sister Lila who we are sure she will become best friends with! More to come!!
