Poor, poor Brisco came from Bowling Green, KY.  He ended up in a high kill shelter and ran out of time - so the kind folks at Bowling Green took him in hoping to find a rescue to help.

Who could say no to this sweet boy?

I don't think I have ever seen a dog in such poor condition! 

He had every kind of worm you can think of on top of coccidia.

Brisco is on his way to feeling much better!  He has gained some weight and his coat is improving.  His sores are healing and he is felling much better.

Brisco Update!!!!!!!

2-25-08 Update!  Brisco has been adopted and now weighs 71 lbs!!!!!

2-18-08 UPDATE:  Brisco visited with a family that is interested in adopting him and guess what???  Yes!  That's right!  Brisco has found his forever home!!! Yay!

He will remain in foster care until March 2nd - that is when his new family will be moving into their new home and Brisco will join them! 

It brought tears to our eyes to think of what Brisco has gone through and now he has found his forever home.  Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers for this sweet boy!  This is why we do what we do!

2-1-07 UPDATE:  Brisco now weighs 61 lbs. and is doing fantastic!  He loves going for his walks and playing with the other dogs!  He also received a new bed from Diane and Jan ~~ Thank you both so, so much!!!

Brisco's neuter surgery is scheduled for next week and once he gets the ok from our vet he will be ready for his new home!
