Ivan, was adopted by D.D.R. volunteer Kimberly Grimm in 2011. Ivan has already successfully completed the A.K.C. S.T.A.R. Puppy Program and the A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen Program, passing the tests and earning certificates for both. Ivan is currently training for North American Police Work Dog Assoc. (N.A.P.W.D.A.) Area Search certification with Canine Aided Emergency Search and Rescue (C.A.E.S.A.R.) under Master Trainer Pat Maloney. Ivan also participates in agility at both Golden Triangle Obedience Training Club in Pleasant Hills, PA, and Four Seasons K9 Athlete Center in Washingtonville, OH. Most recently Ivan has taken up lure coursing having attended his first A.K.C. Coursing Aptitude Test (C.A.T.) in June in The Plains, VA.
