FOSTER PARENTING

Foster homes keep the dogs in their homes until a suitable approved adoptive home can be found. Fostering is our greatest need. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can save.

Volunteers arrange to meet potential adopters in their home to be sure we make a good match between dog and adoptive home. These visits are very important and help us to make the best possible match. Volunteers visit the homes using a form which is a helpful guide to gather the much needed information to ensure we find the perfect fit.

Our rescue has several public events each year including our annual Wine, Wags & Bags event held every February. We also attend several local events throughout the year. We can always use help collecting donations of gift cards and/or baskets from local businesses to be used for our events.

Transporting is very important to ensure dogs needing to come into rescue make their way to safety and begin their journey for their happily ever after.
