If there is any way at all for you to keep your Doberman or Miniature Pinscher as a member of your family, we urge you to do that. Please visit the very informative site listed below. It has many helpful suggestions.
We can also recommend trainers and/or training facilities if necessary. We want to help you keep your dog if we can.
But, if you must surrender your Doberman or Miniature Pinscher...
We understand that sometimes there may be situations beyond our control that make it impossible to keep beloved pets. Divorce, death, relocation, illness, lack of time/income, landlord conflicts, etc. often leave owners with no other options.
We want to help and do not want your dog to end up in a shelter or worse - in the wrong hands.
We ask that your dog is current on vaccines and altered or that you make a donation to off-set the vetting costs for us. This is not a requirement, but it is appreciated since we are a non-profit organization and function solely on donations.
We "WILL NOT" accept aggressive dogs into our rescue. Please do not ask!
While this is a difficult time, we ask that you:
Plan ahead to avoid rushing
Complete the surrender form
Gather current vet records
Make a donation, not required but appreciated
After filling out the surrender form you can also email ddrincinfo@gmail.com regarding the Doberman or Miniature Pinscher you wish to surrender.
